A calming counterpoint to the lively lobby, the front desk is tucked away, offering guests a moment to decompress upon arrival. The intimate atmosphere is shaped by low ceilings, striped flooring—a riff on the original flooring that was uncovered but couldn’t be restored—and a palette of rich purple and pink hues.

Behind the wood-clad desk are two pieces by local artist Lauren Pearce that command attention. To add intrigue, the team also curated a gallery wall that “looks compositionally interesting,” Ciszczon says. Here, 36 pieces that reference Cleveland lore serve as a visual bridge from reception to the adjacent Club Room.
