Restaurateur Simon Kim, the CEO and founder of Gracious Hospitality Management, in partnership with the Olayan Group, has announced plans to launch three dining concepts in a landmarked office building at 550 Madison Avenue in New York.
The F&B venues—expected to be completed in the second half of 2025—will unfold across three floors and 15,000 square feet of the Manhattan skyscraper.
Bringing an East-meets-West experience to Midtown’s culinary scene, Kim will lead operations across the trio of concepts, which will include an exclusive sushi restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Masahiro Yoshitake, New York’s second COTE Korean Steakhouse, and an all-day, multi-bar and dining concept.
Rockwell Group will lead the design of the restaurants, with Yoshio Itai collaborating on the interiors of the sushi spot.
“I believe the best of New York City’s dining scene is yet to come,” says Kim. “Our three new concepts will offer transportive, immersive, and never-before-seen dining experiences that evoke conviviality, opulence, playfulness, and out-of-the-box approaches that will set the stage for the future of hospitality.”
Kim recently introduced COQODAQ in New York’s Flatiron neighborhood.
